FAMILY LIFE IN GHANA
These images are from a trip I made to Ghana in 2006. During my stay there I lived with Mrs. Vida Sampha
and her family in Accra. The Sampha family lived in a house with one bedroom and a living room. There were
a total of 7 people living in the house, basically three generations were staying under the same roof. The first
night I spent with them they tried to offer me their only bed. I politely declined and said that I would be much
more comfortable in the living room sleeping with the children. These images are from the two weeks I was
living with them.
